Douglas – Big Expert Conference Hosting 700 Visitors

In July 2011 Germany's leading perfumery chain "Douglas" realised its annual conference for more than 700 employees within the historical newspaper district of Berlin. Especially for this event the Ullstein Hall and other parts of the Axel Springer-Arcade in the Axel Springer-Haus were transformed into a shiny Douglas world.


The reason for this event was among other things a refresh of the label. What we have known as Douglas so far, is now called "my".


Our assignment was to realize the interior and technical infrastructure of the location, which on two nights combined a come together area and a disco area for the casual part of the event.


For the presentation of the brand-messages we equipped the directly adjacent Ullstein Hall, named after the former newspaper publisher Ullstein, with all the necessary equipment for the extravagant presentation. Among other things we projected the whole back of the wall of the podium with four high performance projectors. The middle part of the projection surface was reserved for the substantive presentation and on the two border parts the old logo was – according to the progress of the presentation – adjusted step by step into the new one .
