müllermusic Biggest Technology Provider During drupa 2012 Duesseldorf

With its innovative products Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG presented itself from May 3 -16, 2012 at drupa in Duesseldorf. In cooperation with müllermusic Event Technology the globally known company has staged its stand which spread out over the entire hall 1 and was thereby the biggest one at the trade show.

Since more than 60 years the global leading exhibition drupa is characterizing the developments in the print media industry. Around 1,850 exhibitors from more than 50 countries displayed their innovative products and manifold applicable machines in the entire 19 halls of the Duesseldorf exhibition grounds.

This year Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) presented its innovative and further developed product range in the entire hall 1. In complete printing press workflows for the advertising and packaging industry the company presented its most modern machines, technologies and services with which printing and further processing providers are fulfilling the present market requirements.

Heidelberg Presents Itself in a Comfortable Atmosphere

With its approx. 6,300 m² the stand of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG was the biggest, however the most extraordinary, as well. In general the exhibition concept consisted of "flown" elements – hence the classic stand setting up had to be moved below the ceiling of the hall – which required a very specific rigging and diverse special constructions.

During the assembly phase the special challenge for müllermusic Event Technology was the implementation of the very open and transparent stand concept on this big area during a very tight time schedule. Special focus was given to the illumination and the acoustic irradiation.

"Next to the optimal presentation of the exhibits, one of our goals was to create a place with an inviting atmosphere in this big exhibition hall where one likes to linger" according to Mr. Alexander Kotronis, Project Leader, müllermusic Event Technology.

In the planning phase importance was not only given on a friendly and inviting ambience but also the subject of sustainability was considered: on the entire stand area an efficient LED-Technology was set up. By the waiver of daylight lamps and the implementation of original Moooi-Lounge lamps a warm and harmonious flair was created. The comfortable surrounding created a very pleasant, calm and inviting demonstration area. With much attention to detail and diverse light effects, color variations and light and dark contrasts the displayed printing machines were illuminated precisely.

The application of linear loudspeaker systems ensured a flawless acoustic irradiation at the exhibition stand, which allowed an excellent voice comprehension and fitted visually well into the picture. Mr. Volker Sandforth, Project Leader, müllermusic Event Technology: "A special challenge for our sound technicians at this totally open stand area was the voice comprehension during the shows. Diverse shows run parallel, so to fill the hall area with sound had to be completely redefined, so that the shows did not disturb each other.

Mr. Uwe Galm, Project Leader Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, too is very content with the implementation of this year’s stand concept: "By the professional planning and the close coordination of all disciplines already the assembly was a success. With the huge volume of material and the tight time schedule it was a logistic master piece. The very well organized and experienced technical crew of müllermusic did excellent work in any aspect. The exhibition concept has exceeded our expectations by far – the feedback from our customers and visitors is positive throughout – and everybody is excited about the stand."
